Industrial Roofing
Industrial roofing goes through a lot of wear, from chemicals in the air, manufacturing particulate, and sunlight. The problem solver we provide is a roof coating that shields your roof, and extends its life. It is re-roofing, but uses your current roof as the base. You don’t pay for tear off and replacement. You pay as little as half the cost of a new roof, with up to 20 years of warrantied life on some roof systems. And you get amazing energy efficiency.

When your roof starts to fail, you can live with the leaks or replace the old roof. Now you can coat the existing roof to get a longer lasting surface, no major disruption to your physical plant, and reduce your energy bills.
When your facility is brand new, coatings guarantee industrial roofing with longer life and maintenance free service. It is dirt resistant for long term protection from manufacturing particulate.
- We feature the roof coatings of Conklin® Roof Coating Systems. They originated the process of extending roof life with acrylic polymer coatings, and they continue to innovate. For instance, much of the roofing in use today is EPDM, also known as a “rubber roof”:
Conklin has developed a three-step innovation for EPDM industrial roofing. The process begins with a roofing surface cleaner, a new primer and then the proven Rapid Roof III® top coat. For an aging EPDM roof, it is durable, and is a highly reflective, energy saving roof. It is light colored, to reflect 85% of the sun’s energy away from the roof surface. This keeps the roof and the workspace underneath cooler. You use less energy to keep cool. Compare that with the conventional dark EPDM roof which reflects barely six percent of solar energy.
Recoats of Rapid Roof III can be applied as necessary to add further longevity to the life of the roof. We team up with Conklin Company to guarantee a leak-proof system with a 10 year materials warranty.
Another innovation is Benchmark®, which is brushed, rolled or sprayed on any retro-fit or new industrial roofing, and is used as the surface in many of the roofing systems we install.

For our customers in coastal areas, it is important to know that this roof coating has Miami-Dade County approval for wind resistance. These are the toughest hurricane building materials standards in the nation.
In addition, Factory Mutual (FM) has approved this industrial roofing for Class “A” Fire, windstorm and hail classifications.
Why are coatings superior? They are acrylic, which provides your building with the toughest protection against the elements and provides energy savings through reduced cooling. Most are white, which results in 85 percent solar reflectivity, earning the ENERGY STAR™ government rating. It forms a completely seamless membrane – so there are no seams to leak, and it is water based, not petroleum based. When we meet for your free estimate, we will explain the many options you have for industrial roofing. All are less expensive than reroofing, and are also sustainable, so your roof can be recoated if needed for years to come. These innovative coatings have been tested and proven in the most demanding industry environments and have come out on top.
