A simple concept solves complicated roof problems

• The engineering is straightforward: flexible sheets of synthetic rubber are unrolled over the entire surface of the roof. The single layer (that’s how it gets the name “single ply system”) is fastened and sealed to your existing roof. It’s strong, elastic, and long-lasting. And it looks good!
• According to the Single Ply Roofing Industry (SPRI) consumer website, the pre-fabricated sheets on the market today are manufactured to a consistent standard of top quality.
• The sheeting only gets stronger with age. This explains the 10 to 20-year warranty on the material.
• It is cut to be sealed around HVAC and other roof equipment. No removal and then reinstallation of roof fixtures is necessary.
• No expensive tear off of your existing roof is needed.

But what about the seams in a single ply system?

It’s a frequently asked question by owners who need to fix an endless cycle of leaks and repairs to a current roof. The synthetic rubber sheets are several feet wide. They’re laid side by side, with some overlap, and fastened with metal and screws. Then each seam is cleaned, so no dirt or debris fouls the seal. The seams are heat melded to one another. High heat makes the rubber-to-rubber bond unbreakable. In addition, we can coat the seams with a liquid version of the synthetic material for additional strength.

Fact: single ply system seams are six times stronger than those on an EPDM roof.
For industrial buildings, double protection

The membrane is resistant to chemicals and pollutants. So substances in the air outside an industrial building will not damage it. And more importantly, they can not seep into the surface.

1. It’s durable in spite of unforgiving climates. It is impervious to ultraviolet rays and ozone, meaning they will not degrade the material and reduce the useful life of the roof.
2. The white surface will reduce the cost of cooling a building’s interior. White reflects the heating of the sun, keeping the surface cooler. This “cool roof” energy savings has prompted state and federal governments to offer incentives for retro-fitting light colored roofing.
